Sorry we’re late again. Hopefully we’ll be more on time this decade!
Right now Andrew Jackson Jihad is on tour (dates here) with Kepi Ghoulie and Partners In 818. Looks like it’s a west coast only tour, with lots of dates in California. I saw them last week in SF at Bottom of the Hill, and they were great as usual. I was even more excited because they had their mandolin player and I had never got to see them live with mandolin before. Everyone should go check them out if they’re touring near you.
Here’s to another decade of great punk music!

Sorry this episode is late, but we had some technical problems.
Last night Dead Dog, who we played on the first episode, played a show in SF at The Knockout. Their set was really great and they played a bunch of new songs. They’re in the middle of their US tour, and you should definitely check them out if they’re going to be playing in your area. Nate and I are going to try to go to their show in Oakland on Friday as well. You can visit their Myspace page for tour dates.
Don’t forget that we’ve added a RSS feed for the podcast, so you can now subscribe to Spinning On a 45 through iTunes or any RSS reader. You can view the instructions by following the link on the right side of the page.

We’ve got more bands on tour this episode. Toys That Kill plays this Friday in SF and this Saturday at the Asian Man Records anniversary show at the Oakland Coliseum parking lot. They’ll be playing with Classics Of Love on both dates, which features Jesse Michaels of Operation Ivy. The Saturday show is an afternoon show, so you should be able to go to that during the day and then head on over to Gilman St. that night to check out Turkish Techno.
In two weeks (August 12-16) there’s the SF Is Doomed Fest which will have a lot of bands we’ve played, such as Shang-A-Lang, Underground Railroad to Candyland, and Nodzzz.
